University library
The library stores a collection of many books and documents ranging from valuable historical documents up to latest multimedia.
The library annexed to Shizuoka University has its main facility on the Shizuoka Campus and a branch on the Hamamatsu Campus. They house numerous books and magazines that have been collected over the long history of Shizuoka University. Many multimedia sources such as CD, DVD and video are available. Besides, you can use the internet and watch international TV programs.
Center for Education and Research in Lifelong Learning
The center is open to the local community and promotes the practice of lifelong learning.
The Center for Education and Research in Lifelong Learning was established with a view to realizing a lifelong learning society and is now mainly doing research and education for lifelong learning, and planning and management of the university extension programs.

Aiming at the development of science and technology in collaboration with the local community, the Innovative Joint Research Center supports the venture spirit originated from the university.

The Center for Instrumental Analysis is equipped with large-scale instruments used in various studies and researches.
Any student can apply to use the instruments. Courses are also offered in instrument operation.

Medical Care Center
This Medical Care Center serves the physical and mental health of students. It not only cares for injuries and diseases but also listens to the student’s mental worries.
